YANGA SC WAMSAJILI LASSINE KOUMA (YOUNG AFRICANS SIGNS LASSINE KOUMA)

A player from Mali, Lassine Kouma, is now officially a Yanga SC player.

The 21-year-old youngster has signed a two-year contract with Yanga SC, making him officially part of the team starting from the 2025/26 season.

Before joining Yanga, Lassine was playing for Stade Malien, a club based in Mali.

There had been rumors that Simba SC were planning to sign him, but it seems their arch-rivals Yanga acted swiftly and managed to complete the signing.

Lassine has been signed as part of a strategic plan to fill the gap left by Khalid Aucho, who, according to reliable inside sources, will not be part of Yanga’s squad for the 2025/2026 season.

Lassine Kouma is a talented player. In the previous season, he managed to score 2 goals in 19 matches. However, he is not a finisher — he plays as a midfielder, just like Khalid Aucho.
